Chris and I covered Little Angels’ Young Gods on the podcast not that long ago and I remember saying there wasn’t much chance of more Little Angels material. I’d picked up Toby Jepson’s recent Little Angels Years collection bundle, resigned myself to the fact that the reunion shows in 2012 and 2013 were probably it.
Turns out I was wrong. And I couldn’t be happier about it.
Little Angels have announced the Big Bad & Back Tour for November 2026, their first shows in 13 years, with the full original line-up: Toby Jepson, Bruce Dickinson, Jim Dickinson, Mark Plunkett, and Mark Richardson. Plus the Big Bad Horns. The whole thing.

Tickets for the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire sold out within days of going on sale. They’ve already had to add three more dates: a second London show at O2 Forum Kentish Town, plus Newcastle O2 City Hall and Cardiff Depot.
As Toby put it: “Selling out the Shepherds Bush Empire is wonderful; adding another show due to demand is, quite frankly, astounding.”
Astounding, but not surprising. Not if you know how much love there still is for this band. I still remember jumping over the school gates at lunchtime and running down to Martin’s Records in Ashby De-La Zouch to buy this copy of Don’t Prey for Me. It’s weathering the years better than I am I think, but just how young do they all look?

Luke Morley on Support
And if that wasn’t enough, Luke Morley from Thunder is supporting on all dates. We covered Thunder on the podcast too—these bands were part of the same scene, same era, same Geffen/Polydor world of early 90s British hard rock that never quite got the American breakthrough it deserved. Luke’s said he’ll be throwing in some Thunder tunes, which feels right. The Venn diagram of Little Angels fans and Thunder fans has always had serious overlap.
Why This Matters
Nearly 40 years since they formed in Scarborough. Eleven UK Top 40 singles. Four albums including Jam at number one. Tours with Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Bryan Adams, Bon Jovi. A sold-out farewell at the Royal Albert Hall in 1994. A triumphant return at Download in 2012.
I last saw Toby Jepson at Rock City a few years back when I was there photographing a different gig entirely looked up from my camera and there he was with Wayward Sons on support, one of their first shows. Had no idea he was back performing. That moment reminded me how much Little Angels meant to me growing up.

This tour is going to be special. If you were there the first time, you know. If you weren’t, this is your chance.
See you down the front.
